This 2-hour course is designed for personnel who work at heights in excess of 4-feet and who are
subjected to the potential of falls or falling objects in either the OSHA Construction Industry (29 CFR
1926) or OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910). This training is required for any person who may
use ladders, scaffolding, aerial/man-lifts, working at heights or work beneath other overhead
hazards. This course is conducted over a minimum of two (2) hours, up to four (4) hours, and solely
includes formal classroom training.
Course Topics to include: Current Regulations, Compliance
Program, Training Programs, Recognizing Fall Hazards, Employer Requirements, Fall Prevention &
Fall Protection Arrest Systems, Falling Objects, Fall Protection Plans, Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE), Use of Safety Harness, Lanyards & Fall Protection Equipment Workshop, Etc.
