This course is designed for personnel who perform environmental asbestos sampling by applying proper techniques and methods in the selection of sites, collection, handling, recording and chain of custody procedures of asbestos air samples for all asbestos abatement projects or in performance of investigative studies. This course is conducted over a minimum of two days. The total instruction time of 16 hours includes both formal classroom and hands on training. Successful completion of this course will enable the individual to apply for Air Sampling Technician certification by New York State.
