Mr. Eck is the Director of Safety & Environmental Services within Quality Environmental Solutions & Technologies, Inc. QuES&T. Mr. Eck is responsible for directing and coordinating the technical activities of the organization in the area of Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Environmental Quality, Building Sciences, Energy Utilization, LEED Construction and Occupational Safety.

Mr. Eck attained a B.A. Degree from SUNY Geneseo, majoring in Environmental Geology/Forensic Anthropology. He also attended SUNY New Paltz for his Graduate Studies. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), NYS Code Enforcement Officer, NYS Licensed Emergency Medical Technician and Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners International (FACFEI). He is an active professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, National Fire Protection agency, and other professional safety & environmental organizations. He has provided technical expertise to the National Safety Council for several publications and created an MSDS Management program. He has lectured throughout the US, South America and Caribbean on safety and environmental issues.

Mr. Eck was responsible for creating and managing the Rockland County BOCES Safety and Risk management program for fifteen years. He has been lab director of a NYSELAP Certified laboratory, is certified in underground tank testing and was responsible for the safety and risk management programs in 125 school buildings in Rockland County. He has managed numerous abatement and remediation projects dealing with asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and underground tanks.

Mr. Eck has been employed with QuES&T since April 2002 and has over thirty-five (35) years of field experience. He has performed numerous investigations into mold and its impact on facilities and oversaw several multi-million dollar building cleanups. He has extensive emergency response experience and was directly involved in the World Trade Center Response.
