QuES&T shall guarantee a class opening for all students who have pre-registered online or have forwarded a valid purchase order, attendance roster and have confirmed receipt by speaking with a Training Department Representative. All students who have not pre-registered will be included in the class on a first come/first serve basis. Payment must be made prior to inclusion in the training class and must be made by company check, money order, or major credit card.

Cancellation Policy

To receive a full refund, cancellations will be accepted up to (5) business days prior to the first day of class. If the cancellation is made less then (5) five business days prior to the first day of class the account will be credited towards future training. Tuition is non-refundable to the individual canceling on or after the first day of class. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for any returned check.

Upcoming Mold Remediation Contractor (Mold Abatement Supervisor) Initial (24-hours)

This 24-hour course meets current NYS requirements for personnel seeking certification as a NYS Mold Remediation Contractor (Abatement Supervisor) in accordance with Article 32 of the NYS Labor Law for personnel who intend on supervising mold abatement projects. This course was designed by and is instructed by experienced mold professionals, Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and Building Scientists, with years of practical field experience in conducting mold investigations. This course is conducted over a minimum of three (3) days. The total instruction time includes both formal classroom instruction as well as physical hands-on training.

Course Topics to include: Current Regulations, Sources, Conditions & Prevention of Mold Growth, Potential Health Effects, Personal Protective Clothing (PPE), Additional Environmental Concerns (i.e. asbestos, lead, confined spaces, lock out/tag out, etc.), Legal Liabilities, Documentation, Reports, Field Notes, Clearance Testing & Procedures, Building Construction, Building Sciences, Moisture Control, Water Intrusion Events, HVAC Systems, Writing Mold Management & Remediation Plans, Engineering Controls, Work Area Establishment & Containment, Removal & Cleaning Techniques, NYC Guidelines, IICRC 520, Applicable Industry Standards, Establishment of Regulated Abatement Work Area Workshop, Final Examination (multiple choice), Etc.

**Any individual looking to obtain this license MUST have a NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles Driver’s License Number or Non-Driver ID Card (DMV-ID) as required by the NYS Dept. of Labor Licensing Unit.
